They have worked extensively in various capacities in the information technology and telecommunications sectors both locally and overseas in the fields of research, systems development and training. Biographies of directors and senior staff are given below.
Mr. Lawrence Gitonga Kaburu- Managing Director
Lawrence is an IT professional with over 20 years’ experience in information technology industry. He has specialized in software and systems analysis, design and development. Lawrence previously worked for UNESCO, USAID funded projects and before joining Novel, he was the head of information and communication systems for Lonrho Africa PLC for 12 years. Lawrence was responsible for managing information and communication operations for twenty companies in Kenya and across about ten African countries.
Mrs. M. K. Gitonga- Executive Director
Margaret is a professional with a wealth of experience in finance matters gained from the corporate and finance industry where she worked for 19 years. She has steered the company into a vigorous player in the market. She is a graduate of Commerce with a major in marketing and currently pursuing an MBA in strategic management.
Mr. Philip Ndolo - Technical Director
He is an electronics engineer with extensive experience in telecommunications, networking, Systems design. He is responsible for configuring customer solutions, after sales support and managing a team of technical staff. Mr. Ndolo is skilled in the design, development, and implementation of technology based solutions with a proven record of increased productivity and reduced costs. He has a strong focus on business, operations and strategic planning as applied in office automation, security, reporting structures, and disaster recovery and business continuity.
